Atlantic Marine recognized by Grady-White Boats

Atlantic Marine has been awarded membership in the prestigious Grady-White Boats Admiralís Circle for the model year 2011 in recognition of high achievement in both sales and customer service.

Admiralís Circle membership is reserved for the top dealerships in the Grady-White network that have achieved more than $1 million in retail sales for the model year. In addition, they must earn Grady-Whiteís Service Excellence award with customer satisfaction index scores exceeding 9.25 on a 10-point scale as rated in customer surveys.

This is the first year that Atlantic Marine has earned the honor.

Established in 1959, Grady-White manufactures a variety of versatile, high-quality center-console, dual-console, express and walk-around cuddy cabin sportfishing and coastal family boats from 18 to 36 feet.

Grady-White boats are built by craftsmanship, and designed through customer input and a longstanding, sincere focus on customer satisfaction, in Greenville, N.C.


Yeargan named for stem cell use

Dr. Austin Yeargan, of North Carolina Shoulder and Elbow Surgery was recently named an Outstanding Shoulder Surgeon and Specialist by Beckerís Orthopedic, Spine and Pain Management Review.

Surgeons and specialists throughout the U.S. are selected for the Becker list based on their leadership and significant medical contributions to their professional field. Dr. Yeargan continues to receive accolades for his innovative treatment techniques using his patientsí own stem cells to enhance tissue regeneration and promote natural healing. He specializes in sports medicine, elbow and shoulder surgery, joint replacement and general orthopedics as a physician at North Carolina Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.

Yeargan earned his medical degree with honors from East Carolina University School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at the John A. Burns school of Medicine at the University of Hawaii. He also completed a prestigious fellowship at the Steadman Hawkins Sports Medicine Clinic in Vail, Colo.
