The Wrightsville Beach Parks and Recreation Department has announced its kids summer camp program for 2014.
Registration is now open. Prices range for each camp and vary for town residents and nonresidents.
Performance Club Camp: Camp duration ranges from four days to two weeks with the first camp beginning June 16 and the last camp beginning Aug. 11.
Cape Fear Cotillion Manners Camp: For ages 4-8, cotillion camp runs from July 7-11.
Kids Cooking Camp: With camps for elementary and middle school ages, cooking camp runs from June 23-27 and from July 28 to Aug. 1.
Youth Art Camp, and Parent and Child Art Camp: Led by Susan Tharin and Julia Jensen, Youth Art Camp has three sessions between June 23 and Aug. 8. Parent and child camp is from July 14-18.
Lacrosse Camp: For ages 11-14, the camp runs from July 14-18, and is led by Cape Fear Academy lacrosse head coach Paul Gilbert.
Tennis Camp: Tennis pro Jackie Jenkins will lead two age group camps from June 23-26, for 6-8 year olds and 9-10 year olds.
Basketball Camp by the Sea: The camp is for children ages 7-14 and there will be three four-day camps from June 23 to Aug. 8.
Wilmington Hammerheads Soccer Camp: Wilmington Hammerheads players and coaches will lead two four-day camps for ages 5-12 on June 16-19, and July 21-24.
